Briefing the participants, the CTD chief said that 12 terrorists' plans were disrupted in the year 2016, while 231 terrorists had been killed by CTD Punjab and 769 terrorists had been arrested.
He said counter terror department and Punjab Police with the support of government would take revenge from those terrorists as soon as possible. "Our fallen heroes have given ultimate sacrifice and we will not let ourself and our nation down," the AIG said. At least 13 persons lost their lives and 80 others were injured in a deadly suicide blast outside the Punjab Assembly on Monday evening.
