District administration Peshawar has warned of stern action under 3MPO against parents refusing administering polio drops to their children to abolish the crippling disease in the district. Anti-polio campaign is in full swing in district Peshawar and in this connection Acting Deputy Commissioner and the Additional Assistant Commissioners (AACs) conducted door to door campaign to administer polio drops to the children of the refusing parents.
In this connection, AAC Bashir Ahmad along with polio teams visited houses in Nauthia and Saddar area and administered polio drops to the children of refusing parents while AAC Abdul Nabi persuaded parents for polio vaccines in Akhundabad and Shaheen Muslim Town. Similarly, AAC Syed Shahzeb carried door to door campaign in Hayatabad and administered polio injections to children in different parts of the township.
