Soyabean spot basis bids gained at an Indiana processor and Iowa elevator and were unchanged elsewhere in the US Midwest on Tuesday as futures held near a two-week low, keeping farmer offerings to a minimum, dealers said. Corn bids declined for the second straight day at a wet mill in Blair, Nebraska, and were flat at other processors and elevators as sufficient supplies weighed on bids despite a slow pace of farmer sales during the past several days.
