Sports day at DHA Tooba school

The annual sports day of Defence Authority's Tooba Secondary School was held at school's play ground with great fanfare. The students participated in the event with great fervour and enthusiasm. Administrator DHA Brigadier Shahid Hassan Ali was the chief guest of the function.
The students on the occasion presented an impressive PT Display and march past. Various races and athletic events were held in which students showed their extra ordinary zeal and superb performance. Tug of War, Balloon Burst Race and Cycle Race etc added colour and thrill to the event. The devotion, involvement and dedication with which the students got involved in the event was simply spectacular.
Administrator said that the confidence, enthusiasm and talent demonstrated by the students of the Urdu medium school was commendable and second to none. He appreciated the school management for providing qualitative education and wholesome training to the students that gave them dynamism, self reliance and confidence so essential to face the challenges of life successfully. Administrator said that the young students constitute the bright future of the nation. He also gave a cheque of Rs 1 million for the welfare and wellbeing of the school.
Earlier the Principal, Ms. Sameena Alamgihar in her welcome address said that the main focus in the school was on intellectual and emotional development of students to make them responsible citizens of society. She also highlighted the academic and co-curricular achievements of the students of the school. At the end the chief guest awarded prizes and trophies to the students who excelled in various curricular and co-curricular activities. -PR
