The Group Head for Remittance Business of National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) S H Irtiza Kazmi on Wednesday said that NBP has focused special attention on maintaining a positive and healthy relationship with its customers.
Addressing NBP awards distribution ceremony held here he disclosed that with help of Pakistan Remittance Initiative (PRI) at State Bank Of Pakistan, the remittances to Pakistan have risen to $20 billion in 2015-16 and there is still room for growth. He said that similar promotional campaigns with bigger prizes will be organised during current year.
He said that NBP was positioning itself to be the market leader in remittance business in the upcoming years. Kazmi on this occasion thanked the customers for receiving their remittances from National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) and emphasised on the importance of sending home remittances through legal channels.
During the ceremony the top three remittances paying branches of NBP of Sialkot region were awarded shields by Sohail Hassan Butt, Regional Head, National Bank of Pakistan Lahore. NBP also distributed prizes to its Remittance Customers who used NBP's services to receive their remittance payments through legal channels. The prizes included motor bikes, LCD TVs, gold bars, laptops and many other gifts. A total of 380 customers won prizes worth millions of rupees under NBP's Ramazan Promotional Campaign 2016. Earlier, similar ceremonies were held in different cities including Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Abbottabad, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Multan, Mardan, Muzaffarabad, Faisalabad and Peshawar.
