An alleged dacoit was killed and three others injured in separate incidents while police claimed to have arrested three accused in an encounter here on Sunday. According to police, a dacoit who was busy in looting citizens near Fine Bakery located in North Nazimabad's Block-F area was shot and killed by what police said, 'a citizen Innam Bangash.' His accomplice managed to flee from the scene. The incident occurred in the limits of Hydari police station.
Police also arrested three accused from Korangi in the limits of Zaman Town police station. The identification of under arrest accused have been ascertained as Noman son of Javed, Muhammad Asif son of Muhammad Ahmad, and Saifullah Khan son of Iqbal Khan. Three TT pistols with six bullet cases were also recovered from their possessions during the course of action.
A private marriage lawn's security guard 'unintentionally' triggered fire leaving Javed Hyder,45, son of Javed Ahmad Jafferi and a teen aged boy Murtaza Abbas son of Muhammad Abbass injured. The incident took place near Sakhi Hassan roundabout in the jurisdiction of Taimoria police station.
Meanwhile, a woman - Zahra,22, wife of Jameel sustained a stray bullet injury at Ikhlaq Chowk in Machar Colony, in the jurisdiction of Docks police station. She was moved to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for treatment.
