The US Consul General Yuriy Fedkiw met Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah Khan in Lahore and discussed matters of mutual interest, besides the law & order situation in the province. Rana briefed the US Consul General about developmental, political and security situation of the province. He informed the US diplomat that Pakistan is making progress leaps and bound under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
He said that Pakistan got rid of the menace of terrorism with collaborated efforts of armed forces and other law-enforcing agencies. He said that Pakistani people are peace-loving. Rana said that Kashmir issue needs world community's attention, as Kashmiris are facing worst type of aggression. He added that Kashmir is disputed matter whose resolution is a must for lasting peace in the region. He stressed the need for collaborative efforts of international community to curb the menace of terrorism. US Consul General, Yuriy Fedkiw praised the steps taken by the Punjab government for betterment of people of Punjab.
