Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif on Saturday presided over a high level meeting to review the matters regarding appointment of Vice Chancellors in universities of the province in the light of decision of the High Court. He directed concerned authorities to ensure implementation of court decision with regard to appointment of Vice Chancellors of the universities.
He said that we have great respect for the decision of the court; therefore, the verdict of the court regarding appointment of Vice Chancellors of the universities should immediately be implemented. He issued directions in connection with implementation on the decision of the court in this regard. Provincial Ministers Rana Sanaullah, Syed Raza Ali Gillani, Secretary Law, Secretary Higher Education, Chairman Punjab Higher Education Committee and concerned officials were present on the occasion.
