The St. Mary's High School Peshawar held its 37th Annual Sports Day here at School premises on Saturday. Corps Commander Peshawar Lieutenant General Hadayat ur Rehman and Member National Assembly Hamid-ul-Haq graced the occasion as guests. Principal of the School, faculty members, parents and students were also present in the colourful Annual Sports Day.
The ceremony was started with the recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by National Anthem. The students presented a smart March Past with more than 1500 parents who were there and enjoyed the performances of the students in different sports events and stunning gymnastic display. Speaking on this occasion, Corps Commander Peshawar Lieutenant General Hidayat ur Rehman advised the student to keep on due attention to healthy sports activities along with their studies. Acting participation in sports along with studies can make the student to have a balance personality, he added.
