Rain, thunderstorm forecast for hilly areas of KP, Fata

The Met Office on Saturday forecast rain-thunderstorm with snowfall over hilly areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Fata, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan for the next 24 hours. It said that Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Lahore, Faisalabad, Quetta, and Zhob divisions, besides Islamabad were expected to receive rain-thunderstorm and snowfall at isolated places. Light rain-thunderstorm/drizzle is also likely along Makran and Sindh coast over the period.
Rain-thunderstorm with snowfall has been forecast for Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Kohat, Mardan, Bannu and D I Khan divisions. Dense foggy conditions are likely to prevail over plains of Punjab and Upper Sindh during night and morning hours. The cold and dry weather is expected elsewhere in the country. Weather in the next 48 hours: Rain-thunderstorm with snowfall over the hills is expected at scattered places in Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Kohat, Mardan, Bannu and D I Khan divisions), Fata, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.
