Foreign Office on Wednesday refused reports mainly carried by Indian media outlets regarding alleged raids conducted by the law-enforcement agencies of the US in Pakistan Missions in Washington and New York related to Ohio terror attack. "Any such news is incorrect and being spread through fake social media accounts to malign Pakistan", said Foreign Office Spokesperson Nafees Zakaria while responding to media queries.
The reports mainly appeared on some Indian media online pages, giving reference to a fake twitter account of Pakistan's Permanent Representative to UN Dr Maleeha Lodhi, claiming that State police raided Pakistan's Embassy in Washington DC and the Permanent Mission in New York and allegedly confiscated some documents regarding the Ohio university terror attack.
