A head constable of Islamabad Police was shot dead by unknown assailants in the limits of Aabpara Police Station on late Monday evening. Police said that Head Constable Malik Zaman was shot dead by unknown attackers near his residence at Sector G-6/4. Soon after the incident, police reached the crime scene and shifted Zaman to the hospital where doctors pronounced him dead.
