Mardan Club and Blue Stars took berth into the final after registering victories against their respective rivals in the semi-finals of the ongoing 8th Right to Play District Mardan Inter-Club Football Tournament being played at Younis Stadium Mardan on Wednesday.
In the first semi-final match Mardan club recorded 7-6 victory against spirited Young United in a thrilling encounter witnessed by capacity crowd present on this occasion.
Mardan, have an edge over Young United in the thrill-packed match wherein it scored the opening goal in the 7th minute through Muhammad Ibrahim, the left winger.
In the second semi-final Blue Stars beat Lucky Stars by 3-0 in a one-sided affair. Blue Stars took the lead through Usman on the field attempt in the 25th minute. At half time Blue Stars was leading by 1-0.
