Gwadar port: departure of first trade fleet another milestone: Shahbaz
Chief Minister of Punjab Shahbaz Sharif congratulated Pakistani nation on the historic occasion of the departure of first trade convoy from Gwadar Port under China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) on Sunday. Punjab Chief Minister congratulated the Chinese President Xi Jinping, Prime Minister Li Keqiang, leadership of Communist Party and its people on this historic occasion. He said with the departure of the first trade fleet from Gwadar Port, another milestone of historic Pak-China friendship has been achieved.
He said work is being carried out speedily on projects throughout Pakistan, including Punjab, under CPEC and this historic investment package of China will result in further promotion of Pak-China cooperation.
Shehbaz Sharif said that not only Pakistan but other countries of the region will benefit from the CPEC project and Economic and trade activities will blossom.
He said that the Pak-China friendship is sweeter than honey, higher than Himalayas, deeper than oceans and stronger than steel and it has once again been verified with the departure of trade convoys from Gwadar Port.
He said China gave a historic economic package to Pakistan and the entire Pakistani nation is grateful to people and leadership of China and the coming generations will never forget Chinese support.
He said China is a sincere and trustworthy friend which has always stood with Pakistan in every hour of distress. He said China wants Pakistan and its people to progress and that's why, China is investing 46 billion dollars in Pakistan.
He said great dream of progress of Pakistan and prosperity of its people has materialised. 'Our friends are very happy over great and historic projects of CPEC while enemy is perturbed over this package of progress and prosperity 'he stated.
He said our unity will not allow any conspiracy by the enemy against CPEC to succeed. Shehbaz Sharif said this is a great beginning of the China Pakistan Economic Corridor journey which will bring progress and prosperity to the nation and the destiny of entire region, including Pakistan, will be changed through CPEC, he concluded.
