Imran to meet Turkish President separately: PTI to boycott Parliament's joint sitting on November 17

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) decided on Saturday not to attend the joint-sitting of the Parliament convened for November 17, which will be addressed by the visiting Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. This decision was made during a meeting of the PTI senior leadership chaired by Chairman PTI Imran Khan here at his residence, Bani Gala where the participants discussed the November 17 joint-session of the Parliament.
After the meeting, talking to media persons, PTI Vice-Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi said the PTI would not attend the joint sitting of the Parliament. He said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was a controversial figure and the PTI would not attend any Parliament session until the Supreme Court decides the Panama Leaks case. According to sources, Imran Khan dismissed the advice of senior party leaders to attend the joint session. However, the sources added that the PTI will request for time to hold a separate meeting with the Turkish President.
