RECORDER REPORT: PSX close of day

KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the upper side on Wednesday at 19,773.97 points with a positive change of 159.39 and volume of 130,742,000 shares. High and Low were 19,819.93 and 19,098.60 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 17 were up, 13 were down and 0 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 199,322,900 shares. Total companies traded were 384 of which 181 were positive, 181 were negative and 22 were unchanged.

Technology and Communication was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 34,650,700 shares. It was followed by Chemicals with a total traded volume of 27,352,700 shares.
