KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the lower side on Thursday at 22,073.37 points with a negative change of -403.78 and volume of 109,002,400 shares. High and Low were 22,579.59 and 22,039.52 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 5 were up, 24 were down and 1 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 159,678,610 shares. Total companies traded were 373 of which 82 were positive, 276 were negative and 15 were unchanged.

Commercial Banks was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 49,907,800 shares. It was followed by Chemicals with a total traded volume of 24,117,500 shares.
