KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the lower side on Wednesday at 22,992.36 points with a negative change of -266.43 and volume of 88,351,000 shares. High and Low were 23,342.54 and 22,950.81 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 10 were up, 20 were down and 0 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 134,791,920 shares. Total companies traded were 390 of which 96 were positive, 266 were negative and 28 were unchanged.

Chemicals was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 36,074,520 shares. It was followed by Cement with a total traded volume of 12,604,600 shares.
