There has always been a debate regarding Android vs. iOS with both of the operating system users pointing out flaws in the other. Now a recent survey shows that more people are shifting from iOS to Android for ‘better prices’.

A recent survey conducted by PCMag pointed out that more people in the US prefer switching from Android to iOS operating system because of a better user experience, whereas most people shift from iOS to Android because of the price.

The survey questioned 2,500 mobile users in the US asking them about their buying habits. Where 47% voted to shift to iPhones for better user experience, 30% opted to shift to Android for better user experience. 29% opted to shift to Android phones for better prices whereas, 11% chose iOS for better prices.

Also, other habits were also taken into consideration, for instance, 25% people shifted to iOS for better features as compared to 24% shifting to Android for the same thing.  6% chose Android for better apps, 5% opted for Android due to better customer service. 1% shifted to iPhones because of faster software updates as compared to Android’s 1%.

Moreover, some other results from the survey showed that 54% respondents own an iPhone, as compared to 27% Samsung users. Around 56% people don’t even care about new smartphone releases while, 53% said that they replace their phones only when it breaks.
