Kisan Package: 63,000 small farmers to get benefit

As many as 63,000 small farmers across the district would get benefit from the Prime Minister Farmers Package. Talking to APP here on Thursday, Additional District Collector (ADC) Manzar Javed said the revenue department had prepared lists of 63,000 farmers across the district through a survey. He said lists had been sent to the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA). He said that payment of cash among farmers would be started soon and centres would also be set up at tehsil level.
