Masoor prices down on grain market

Masoor prices were lower on the local grain market on Thursday in the process of modest trading, dealer said. On the cereals side, Masoor Canada low type was lower by Rs 200 to Rs 9000 and the good quality was down by Rs 300 to Rs 9200, Masoor Dall Canada low type shed Rs 200 to Rs 300 to Rs 10000, while the good quality was unchanged at Rs 11200, Gur lost Rs 1000 to Rs 6000 and Rs 6500, they said. On the seed side, cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sindh low type was higher by Rs 100 to Rs 2000 and the fine quality was up by Rs 150 to Rs 2100 due to strong demand amid short supply, they said. Prices were unchanged on the grams and rice sectors, they said.
