KP IGP commends performance of police forces of Swabi, Abbottabad

The Inspector General of Police (IGP) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Nasir Khan Durrani Monday distributed cash prizes and commendation certificates amongst Swabi and Abbottabad police on tracing and arresting the accused involved in blind double murder and kidnapping a new born baby from the hospital cases.
According to details on 21st August two dead bodies in bags were found in maize crop in the jurisdiction of police station Topi. They were strangulated and then shot in the head. It was a blind and challenging case. The investigation team professionally investigated the case from different angels and the bodies were identified as mother and son of Masho Gagar Peshawar.
Two culprits were traced and arrested from Masho Gagar Peshawar who confessed their crime in court. The weapon of offence, laptop, mobile phone, rope and a car used in the incident were recovered. The police also took into custody the video made before killing the mother and the son.
Similarly, the Abbottabad Cantt Police recovered the kidnapped new born baby within 24 hours and arrested the accused Ms Saima wife of Jamil. It was a daunting task as the accused had not left any trace or foot print nor was any clue being found by account of witness. The hospital also does not have CCTV cameras either. The police team work tirelessly with real professionalism and dedication and conducted surveillance in village Banda Jalal Khan where a source had divulged that the baby was being kept.
Addressing the ceremony the IGP Nasir Khan Durrani praised the professional commitment and day and night hard work of the police in the above mentioned cases. He informed that police had brought good name for the force by working out the blind and complicated cases. The IGP directed the awardees to take every case as a challenge and put their best for its working and God Al-mighty will definitely bestow success upon them. He maintained that due to sheer hard work and professionalism commitment prestige of the force had increased throughout the country.
On this occasion the IGP awarded the police officers and jawans with cash prizes and commendation certificates. They include DSP Topi Shah Mumtaz, Inspector Riaz Khan, Sub Inspectors Qamar Zaman and Gul Sher, ASI Ayaz Khan and Head Constable Nazar Bahadar and DSP Cantt Abbottabad Khan Khail Khan, SHO Cantt Inspector Gulzar Khan, Sub Inspector Manzoor Khan and Arif Khan, Head Constable Fazle Hadi and Constable Murad Ali.
