Education institutions: KP Governor takes notice of unhealthy student politics

Governor, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sardar Mahtab Ahmed Khan who is also Chancellor of all the public sector universities has taken serious notice of the activities of students' organisations and federations in the educational institutions in utter violation of the verdict/orders passed by the Supreme Court of Pakistan and has directed for imposition of ban on all such student's federations forthwith and absolute disengagement of the administration of the universities there from so as to ensure conducive academic environment in the educational institutions.
In a circular issued to all the vice chancellors of the public sector universities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the governor/chancellor has further directed for taking strict disciplinary action against the defaulters/ delinquent. He has also directed for devising an effective Grievance Redressal System at the internal level so as to address the genuine demands, problems and complaints of the students. Moreover, curricular activities should be developed and encouraged for utilising and streamlining the energies of the students in the right direction.
All the concerned have been asked to take necessary action on their level in the matter accordingly and submit compliance report for perusal of the honourable governor/chancellor. Meanwhile, Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sardar Mahtab Ahmed Khan has felicitated the Pakistani Cricket team and the whole nation on winning of test and series from Sri Lanka by the Pakistani team.
Soon after hearing about the win of the Pakistani team, the governor said in his remarks that the best performance of Younas Khan and Shan Masood has enabled the Pakistani team to defeat the Sri Lankan team. He said in such a difficult series and play win of the Pakistani team had proved that the Pakistani could not be forced to accept defeat even at a most difficult time. He further said that due to their determination and talent the Pakistani could face any challenge they were facing.
