District Coordination Officer Lahore Captain Muhammad Usman (R) said that the citizens of the provincial capital had been taking benefit and relief from Madni Dastarkhawans set in diverse parts of the city. He said that CDGL and Philanthropists have jointly organized these Madni Dastarkhwans. Usman revealed that as many as 27,616 males and 1,130 female had Aftari today on these Madni Dastarkhawans.
Moreover, DCO Lahore, himself had Aftari at Madni Dasdarkhwan set up at Qaddafi Stadium. The officials of CDGL were also present on this occasion. It is pertinent to mention here that DCO Lahore has been having Aftari consistently from first Ramadan on different Madni Dastarkhawans. Meanwhile DCO Lahore Captain Muhammad Usman (R) has said that CDGL had been maintaining regular supply of essential commodities in all Ramazan Bazaars of the provincial capital and there is no shortage of any item in any Ramazan Bazaar. Usman revealed that CDGL sold out essential commodities in Ramadan Bazaars in quantity as following, flour bag ten kg 13,711 bags, chicken 20,638 kg and 77,060 kg sugar.
