KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the lower side on Friday at 22,128.57 points with a negative change of -392.93 and volume of 136,951,900 shares. High and Low were 22,521.50 and 22,060.30 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 4 were up, 26 were down and 0 was unchanged.
Total volume traded in the market was 222,675,160 shares. Total companies traded were 350 of which 82 were positive, 244 were negative and 24 were unchanged.
Commercial Banks was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 33,097,800 shares. It was followed by Chemicals with a total traded volume of 28,422,730 shares.
