Sindh Governor Dr Ishrat-Ul-Ebad Khan administered the oath of office to Justice Faisal Arab as the 23rd Chief Justice of Sindh High Court (SHC) at a swearing in ceremony held in the High Court premises here on Tuesday. The ceremony was attended by the judges of SHC and subordinate courts besides a large number of lawyers and other officials.
Justice Faisal Arab was born on November 5, 1955. He did his graduation in Commerce in 1978 from Government College of Commerce and Economics, Karachi and LLB in 1989 from Sindh Muslim Law College Karachi. He started practice the same year.
From October 2004 to October 2005 he worked as Standing Counsel for the Federation of Pakistan. He was appointed as Additional Judge of the Sindh High Court on October 25, 2005 and was made permanent judge on October 25, 2006.
