PESHAWAR: Central President Awami National Party (ANP), Asfandyar Wali Khan Saturday criticized PTI Chief saying that Imran Khan who misled people by raising slogan of change had done nothing tangible in KP but merely introduced politics of tirade and speaking ill of his opponents.

Addressing a public gathering at Charsadda, he said the era of politeness and respecting each other’s point of view had ended with the entrance of Imran Khan in the political arena.

Asfandyar said everyone had the right to express his opinion and stance but calling names to opponents was the habit of Imran for which he should be blamed.

He said Imran and his aides had failed to fulfill their pledges made to people who voted PTI into power. Rejecting claim of PTI government to revolutionize education and enrolling tens of thousands of students in government schools, he said the performance of these schools was an eye opener as success ratio in these institutions was only 20 percent.

The ANP chief also slammed PTI government for boasting performance of KP police and making it apolitical and said it was astonishing that elements involved in DI Khan Jail break had not been arrested.

He also questioned the performance of PTI government in establishing universities and setting new dams demanding exact locations of these projects.

He also criticize alliance of JUIF and said the reason behind the political amalgamation was nothing to do with Islam but to seek perks and privileges adding the parties who targeted each other while enjoying all the benefits of being part of government in centre and province were now again started maneuvering and manipulation on the name of Islam.

Regarding Kalabagh Dam, Asfandyar Wali Khan explicitly said the issue was closed once and for all and it should not be reopened.

Praising the enthusiasm of workers in the public gathering, he urged them to come with the same zeal on July 25 and vote for the victory of ANP.
