RECORDER REPORT: PSX close of day

KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the lower side on Monday at 22,198.50 points with a negative change of -10.73 and volume of 42,476,500 shares. High and Low were 22,414.72 and 22,095.35 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 12 were up, 16 were down and 2 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 84,504,630 shares. Total companies traded were 341 of which 139 were positive, 186 were negative and 16 were unchanged.

Cement was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 12,209,050 shares. It was followed by Cable and Electrical Goods with a total traded volume of 9,646,600 shares.
