Caretaker CM signs budget document

LAHORE: Caretaker Punjab Chief Minister Dr. Hasan Askari signed the budget documents to give formal approval in the provincial cabinet meeting chaired by him here Tuesday.

The meeting was attended by caretaker provincial ministers, chief secretary Akbar Durani, IG police Kaleem Imam, Secretary Finance, Secretary Law, Secretary Information and others.

Secretary finance briefed about salient features of the budget and ministers gave their various proposals regarding their respective departments. Dr. Askari listened to the proposals of cabinet members attentively.

The meeting appreciated the services of police in maintaining peace.
