126 avail tax amnesty scheme, deposit Rs101mn in Multan    

MULTAN: Exactly 126 citizens have availed the tax amnesty scheme announced by the federal government so far in Multan and deposited Rs 101 million with the regional tax office.

Official sources said that 126 citizens declared their assets to avail relief under the tax amnesty scheme till June 25 and hoped more would avail the opportunity as the closing date of June 30 draws closer.

Officials said they witnessed surge in the number of those availing tax amnesty scheme by virtue of advocacy by the RTO Multan.
