ISLAMABAD: Senior leader of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N), Mian Javed Latif on Monday said his party leadership would address the core issue of water being faced by the people of the country after winning the upcoming general election.
Shehbaz Sharif had comprehensive administrative qualities and would resolve the problems of the people of Karachi after coming into power, he said talking to a private news channel.
He said no doubt the people of Karachi had been facing water shortage since long.
The former MNA said Shehbaz Sharif had promised the people of Karachi for removing garbage within six month period.
He added that Shahbaz Sharif had performed excellent work in the Punjab province.
Mian Javed Latif said PML-N had completed 70 percent development works as per its manifesto. He said his party had eliminated the menace of terrorism for restoring peace in the country.
"We had added 10,000 mega watt electricity to the national grid, while the work was in progress to produce 14,000 mega watt more electricity for the country, " he said.
To a question, he said PML-N would continue to work for sanctity of vote and strengthening national institutions. Zia ullah Afridi a senior leader of Pakistan Peoples Party said his party had given a lot of sacrifices for democracy.
Imran Ismail a leader of Pakistan Tehrik e Insaf said his party would announce its manifesto in next few days.
