PTI indecisive to name candidates on Pk-82, Pk 80 seats

KOHAT: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has yet to decide about award of tickets on two provincial assembly seats of Kohat.
In the final list issued on Sunday, two provincial assembly seats of Pk-82 and PK-80 were left vacant as deadlock continue over names. Earlier, the PK-82 ticket was given to former MPA Ziaullah Bangash and Pk-80 t to Azmat Waleed.
According to sources, due to deadlock over the names and grouping within party at local level, PTI is indecisive to award tickets of these two seats.
Local leadership of PTI is lobbying for former Governor Iftikhar Hussain Shah from PK-82. After denial of tickets, Iftikhar Hussain Shah and PTI Kohat President, Aftab Alam Advocate have decided to contest elections as independent candidate which put pressure to review tickets.
Meanwhile, Muhammad Zai tribe has held a grand Jirga in which it was decided that Ziaullah Bangash will contest election as an independent candidate if ticket is withdrawn from him.
Experts are of opinion that Muttahidda Majlis-e-Amal candidate Qalbe Hassan will emerge as strong candidate if PTI cannot remove differences over award of tickets amicably and bring suitable candidate unanimously.
