KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the lower side on Thursday at 22,484.20 points with a negative change of -330.77 and volume of 174,780,700 shares. High and Low were 22,816.60 and 22,446.04 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 5 were up, 25 were down and 0 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 241,681,410 shares. Total companies traded were 345 of which 56 were positive, 276 were negative and 13 were unchanged.

Power Generation and Distribution was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 49,211,000 shares. It was followed by Commercial Banks with a total traded volume of 47,531,900 shares.
