KARACHI: Emir of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Karachi and president of Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA) Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman said that the MMA will hold Ulma convention on June 28 and political gathering on July 8 in the metropolis.
The central leadership of the MMA including Moulana Fazal-ur-Rehman and Siraj-ul-Haq will address the gathering, said a statement issued here on Wednesday.
Hafiz Naeem-ur Rehman claimed that Ulma convention and political gathering will change the political atmosphere of the city adding that Karachiites will prove that the MMA is an alternative in Karachi.
Naeem-ur-Rehman who is also MMA's candidate for national assembly constituency NA-250 said that he was hopeful that the people would cast their votes in favor of MMA candidates throughout the country.
