HESCO to collect consumer data through meter readers

HYDERABAD: The Hyderabad Electric Supply Company (HESCO) has requested the consumers for providing their details to meter readers so that they could avail the company's SMS service.

According to a press release issued here on Wednesday, the consumers had been requested to share their CNIC number, address, mobile number and bill reference number to the meter readers.

The HESCO would provide information about billing, meter reading and load shedding schedule through SMS while the consumers could also register their complaints through SMS.
