ISLAMABAD: Ministry of Railways has provided residential hiring facility to the employees of Railway Headquarters within the budget of Pakistan Railways in six major cities of the country.
“The residential hiring facility will be given to the officials of grade-1 to grade-22 who are performing their duties in these specific cities,” an official in the Ministry of Railways told APP.
He said that the employees who are deputed in these cities including Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar and Quetta can get residential hiring facilities.
In this regard, the official said that the Ministry of Railways has already issued notification after the approval of Chairman Ministry of Railways Muhammad Javed Anwar.
He said the Traffic Yard Staff of Pakistan Railways will also get operational allowance from July 1and notification in this regard had issued after the approval of Finance Division.
The official said that Chief Yard Master will get Rs 1500, Yard Master Rs 1350, Assistant Yard Master Rs 1200, Cabin Man Rs 1050, Washing Master and Porter Rs 900, Pilot Master and Pointsman Rs 700 and Gateman will get Rs 600 monthly from July 1.
