Oppo announces Lamborghini edition Find X with super-fast charging

Oppo recently unveiled its new Find X smartphone with a pop-up selfie camera and now, the company has also announced its plans for launching a Lamborghini edition of the phone featuring super-fast charging.

Partnering with the Italian luxury car manufacturer Lamborghini, the smartphone manufacturer Oppo is set to release a special version of its new Find X that will feature super-fast charging for the first time ever.

According to Oppo, the Oppo Find X Automobili Lamborghini Edition will feature super-fast charging that will be able to charge the phone from 0% to 100% in just 35 minutes, about one-third of the general time Oppo Find X takes for a complete charge.

The phone also has a Lamborghini logo engraved on its back, designed to give a 3D effect. Along with branded super VOOC charger, the USB-C cable too is orange in color in accordance with the brand’s, reported GSM Arena.

However, for obvious reasons, the Lamborghini edition Find X will cost $1,966 as compared to the usual Find X that costs about $1,150. Though the Find X will be available in August, the release date for the Lamborghini edition has not yet been revealed.

As for the specs of the phone, they would be almost same as the usual Find X, but will have a carbon fiber back, 512GB storage and a 3,400mAh battery life. It’s most noticeable feature, as per BGR is its pop-up selfie camera instead of being fitted in a notch, and the full-screen display with 93% screen-to-body ratio. Other than that, it will have 8GB RAM, 16MP+20MP dual rear cameras with 25MP front camera, and Android 8.1 Oreo.

Furthermore, months ago, Huawei too launched a Porsche-branded smartphone called the Porsche Design Mate RS.
