SANTIAGO: Chile's consumer price index rose 0.3 percent in May, slightly above a Reuters forecast, with price rises in a range of goods and services, government statistics agency INE said on Friday.
Inflation in the 12 months to May was 2.0 percent, meeting the lower end of the central bank's target range of 2 to 4 percent.
Core inflation was 0.2 percent in May.
