People to vote in favour of PML-N on basis of installing energy plants, constructing road networks: Miftah
ISLAMABAD: Senior leader of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) and former finance minister Miftah Ismail on Thursday said that the people will use their right of vote in favour of his party due to installing power plants, constructing road networks besides improving the economy of this country.
Talking to a private news channel, he said the people have been facing loadshedding due to less water level in the dams, low rain fall besides climate change that created energy problem.
He said the PML-N previous government had completed three power plants including Havaili Bahadar Shah while two coal power plants had also started functioning in Sahiwal and other area to produce electricity for the country.
The PML-N government had also performed work on Neelum-Jhelum project, he added. Tarbella IV and other power plants would start functioning soon and the growing energy issue would be resolved, he added.
To a question about caretaker chief minister of Punjab, he said that the PML-N had expressed reservation over the appointment of Hassan Askari.
