All-out efforts to be made for holding free, fair elections: Hasan Askari

ISLAMABAD: Newly appointed Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Dr. Hasan Askari Rizwi Thursday said that holding free, fair and transparent elections was pivotal to strengthen democracy in the country and all-out efforts would be made in that regard.

Talking to a private news channel, he said every political party would be ensured level playing field in the elections so that they could run election campaigns independently.

He said complaints from any political party regarding election process would be addressed adequately.

The Caretaker CM said holding transparent elections was his top priority and no compromise would be made in discharging duty.
