RECORDER REPORT: PSX close of day

KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the upper side on Wednesday at 23,658.96 points with a positive change of 228.85 and volume of 147,132,800 shares. High and Low were 23,673.48 and 23,423.58 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 18 were up, 11 were down and 1 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 223,429,210 shares. Total companies traded were 346 of which 170 were positive, 151 were negative and 25 were unchanged.

Commercial Banks was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 84,711,500 shares. It was followed by Technology and Communication with a total traded volume of 18,359,000 shares.
