KARACHI: Gold jumped by Rs 471 to close at Rs 48,428 per 10 grams in the local market Thursday as its international price improved to $ 1,653 an ounce, market sources said.
According to Karachi Saraf Association official, tola (11.664 grams) price also went up by Rs 550 to Rs 56,550.
Silver closed unchanged at Rs 857.14 per 10 grams.
