The mercurial Pakistan cricket team once again displayed their ability to beat the odds, after they thrashed England by nine wickets during the first Test at historic Lords on Sunday.
The young team has been receiving praise from all cricketing corners, including Australian bowling great Shane Warne. The master leg spinner congratulated Pakistan for ‘their thrashing of England at Lords’ and applauded Sarfraz Ahmed’s men in all departments of the game.
“Congrats to Pakistan on their thrashing of England at Lords! Pakistan were terrific in all departments,” Warne said on social media.
The leggie also gave out some tips to the losing England side, as he call for ‘drastic changes’ including opening with hard hitting batsman Josh Buttler. The wicketkeeper batsman played a fighting knock of 67 runs against Pakistan at Lords.
“What should England do followers as they’ve been ordinary for a while now? Are drastic changes needed? I would open with Buttler for starters,” said Warne.
