LONDON: European stock markets fell at the start of trading on Wednesday, with London's FTSE 100 index down 0.2 percent at 7,860.28 points.
In the eurozone, the Paris CAC 40 was almost 0.3 percent lower at 5,626.02 and Frankfurt's DAX 30 index shed 0.2 percent to 13,138.83 points, compared with the close on Tuesday.
