KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the lower side on Thursday at 22,402.74 points with a negative change of -219.49 and volume of 34,884,900 shares. High and Low were 22,638.28 and 22,380.07 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 3 were up, 26 were down and 1 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 56,937,060 shares. Total companies traded were 307 of which 72 were positive, 219 were negative and 16 were unchanged.

Cement was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 8,134,650 shares. It was followed by Cable and Electrical Goods with a total traded volume of 7,325,550 shares.
