ISLAMABAD: Central Executive Committee (CEC) of Pakistan Muslim League (N) met here on Friday and discussed in detail a strategy to prepare for the upcoming elections, the party sources said here.
Leader, Pakistan Muslim League(N) Muhammad Nawaz Sharif chaired the meeting attended by CEC members including Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, Leader of the House in Senate Raja Zafarul Haq, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, Marriyum Aurangzeb, Hamza Shehbaz Sharif, Senator Asif Kirmani, Saad Rafique, Barjees Tahir, Pervaiz Rashid and others.
The party leaders discussed the political situation of the country, the future strategy and the situation arising out of the latest steps taken by National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
The CEC also considered creation of a central election cell, media committee, legal aid committee, constitution of a parliamentary board and exchanged views on different aspects of the party's manifesto to be unveiled before the public.
