MANSEHRA: First dengue fever case of the current year has been confirmed in King Abdullah Hospital Manshera.
The hospital officials said on Saturday that 18 years old Salman Shah, resident of Kohistan, was admitted in hospital few days ago where today he was diagnosed with dengue fever. The doctors have confirmed that Salman was victim of dengue fever and started his treatment.
The doctors told media that Salman working as a waiter at a local hotel in Manshera who was admitted in King Abdullah Hospital on 30th April was diagnosed dengue fever after initial laboratory tests.
The patient told doctors that he had visited Lahore during the mid of the April from where he was caught by the disease. District Health Office Manshera after the report of first dengue fever patient has started a campaign from the protection of dengue fever.
