MULTAN: Veteran politician Javed Hashmi Thursday said that he would contest upcoming general elections from two constituencies of National Assembly: 155 and 158.
Addressing a press conference here, he claimed that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) had offered him a party ticket, but he would decided about it in the coming few days. He claimed that he was the only politician to whom the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) had issued a certificate of 'Mr Clean'.
Hashmi said that 60 per cent of the looted wealth of the nation could be recovered through amendments to the accountability laws.
He said the people raising voice for new province in southern Punjab were in fact not favoring the new province cause, added that all linguistic and regional prejudices should be set aside for making a new province.
