Operational activities of Islamabad int’l airport to bring business, economic boom: Ahsan

ISLAMABAD: Minister for Interior Ahsan Iqbal on Wednesday said operational activities of Islamabad International Airport in the federal capital, would help accelerate business and economic activity in the country.

Congratulating the nation for having an international standard facilities airport in the federal Capital, he said and this mega project would put the country on path of speedy progress.

Talking to PTV, he said the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government, after coming into power in 2013 took this project as a challenge.

Former Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and the current leadership had played a vital role in building this airport besides, monitoring the project till its completion, he said.
