PSL beats IPL to become the best fielding league

The country’s premier T20 tournament Pakistan Super League (PSL) has beaten all major T20 leagues, including the coveted Indian Premier League (IPL), when it comes to the fielding discipline.
“The PSL had 82 percent of catches being taken, with the champions, Islamabad United, converting 90.4pc of their chances,” according to the stats produced by ESPNcricinfo,
Meanwhile, the IPL sits second with 81pc of catches being taken, whereas, the three-time IPL champions, Mumbai Indians, enjoy the success rate of 90pc.
Revealing about the Australia's Big Bash League (BBL), the stats revealed a conversion rate of only 75.6pc. “The Big Bash League is known for its exciting ground fielding and catches, but last season's conversion rate was only 75.6pc. The champions, Adelaide Strikers, were third-best with an 80% conversion rate, while a few teams that did not make the playoffs had a poor catching conversion rate.”
“The CPL seems to be a hard league for catching, with an overall conversion rate of only 72pc. Like the PSL, the winners of the CPL, Trinbago Knight Riders, finished with the best catching conversion rate: 71.9pc.”
The third season of PSL was concluded on March 25, with Islamabad United crowned champions for second time.
